FINE ART PHOTO PRINTS
All prints within the Seascape and Landscape photo galleries are available for purchase through my website. If you wish to order a print, standard sizes are available for purchase. If you would like a custom size, please fill out the Custom Order Inquiry and I will send you a quote.
CHROMOGENIC PRINTS
Every photo ordered through my site is processed as a C-Print on Fuji Crystal Archive Paper. This is the most expensive paper that Fuji makes, and when you see it in person you will understand why. The paper is not an inkjet print, it is actually a light sensitive silver halide paper that is exposed to LEDs or Lasers and then processed in a chemical emulsion to produce a highly superior print over most inkjet prints. The depth of color, clarity and vibrancy provide the most realistic portrayal of the photo processed.
The developed photo is then permanently sealed in between a ¼” sheet of acrylic glass and an aluminum backing plate. This method of finishing allows your piece to be hung without an external frame or you can add a frame later if so desired. Each assembly is complete with a backside hanging cleat system for attaching securely to the wall.
FLOAT MOUNTED FRAME
The backside hanging cleat sets the piece off of the wall by a ½” or ¾”, depending on the overall size, which makes it appear as if it were floating off the wall. The exposed clean edge is professionally finished so that a surrounding frame is unnecessary. Most traditional framing methods cover a portion of the artwork at the edge, but this method allows you to see the entire image as it was meant to be viewed.
Most new clients have never seen this type of framing method before and they are ecstatic once they see their piece in person. The range of color, depth and detail in the image are beyond what you would normally see with the majority of normal photo paper options and soft surface printing such as on canvas.
